The author of the article of "10 Tips on Writing the Living Web" argues that in order to attract the interest of others, you must first show them yourself, open your thoughts, emotions, and dreams to the people reading, whether you know them or not. This, while a good point, is hard for some people to achieve comfortably. Many of us barricade ourselves behind walls of emotion, or lack thereof. So why shoud we open up ourselves to people we can't see, hear, or touch when we can't share our simplest ideas with our closest friends?
