The author of the article of "10 Tips on Writing the Living Web" argues that in order to attract the interest of others, you must first show them yourself, open your thoughts, emotions, and dreams to the people reading, whether you know them or not. This, while a good point, is hard for some people to achieve comfortably. Many of us barricade ourselves behind walls of emotion, or lack thereof. So why shoud we open up ourselves to people we can't see, hear, or touch when we can't share our simplest ideas with our closest friends?

A huge problem we have in society is our me, myself, and I train of thought. It is hard for people to get out of a comfort zone and express there thought but when people do they sometimes realize that there not the only one thinking this way. A some writers never publish there work but when someone finds it they realize a completely different point of view on that person.
Really powerful post! Your post is a perfect example of conciseness. I also think your thought is perfect. I too wall myself up and don't open up very often to others--even friends. Sometimes I ask myself whether that is right or wrong. What do you think?
I think in ministry it is useful and important to be able to share what God is doing in one's life or even just be able to connect with people, but I know for me, that those traits are easier said than done! I don't think it's wrong to be more of an introvert, but it might be harder to minister--at least in traditional venues.
Anyhow, I'm pretty sure I could never write a "journal blog" where I recount my life experiences like a personal journal for the whole world to see!
